Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!! This was Kinley's First Halloween and we celebrated by dressing up with her and trick-or-treating!! Kinley was a fairy, Kirb a cowboy and I was a witch. Kirby picked out the wig! Haha.

Her Grandma came down to enjoy in the fun and help us take lots of pictures!

 We had a blast trick-or-treating. One of our neighbors had an awesome zombie and pirate graveyard set up so we went there first and took more pictures!

Kinley got her first piece of candy - Twizzlers. And no one was taking that from her!!

Then we went home and handed out candy with some friends. 

Earlier in the day we'd met some friends by work and had a quick trunk-or-treat. 

 Kinley loves Morgan and Shyanne.

We also visited a pumpkin patch. She wasn't too sure what was going on, but she was happy to be outside.

She Crawls!!!!

Soo...Kinley has been pretending like she's going to crawl for a while. She moves ALL OVER THE PLACE, but never on all fours.

Friday October 21st she finally did it on all fours - a real crawl! (and one of the only times. She now spider crawls. We're so excited because we thought she would probably just skip it anyways! See below (she crawls and then she gets mad and goes backwards and sits down)!!

Been Slackin'

So...I missed the ENTIRE month of September and most of October. I've been slacking I know. But here is a September-Catch-Up Post.

Kinley turned 7 months old in September. She's such a big big girl. We took our first "family vacation" with just the three of us to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone over Labor Day Weekend. We were only gone for 1 night - 2 days...and we did A LOT of driving, but Kinley was a trooper and she slept most of the time. Being in the car puts her out. She did get to see a buffalo, a bunch of elk, some deer, and probably some more animals.

We also went on a fire station tour with our local moms group. I'm sure she'll remember how to "stop, drop, and roll" in the coming years from this tour. She really just liked all the shiny parts on the fire truck and the flashing lights. She also loved seeing all the kids. It was fun to get out and make some new friends!

We went on our first walk to the park and slid down the slide. For some reason parks out here by our house do not have swings. That was a little sad for us :( but she liked the slide!! So here are some pics of her on the slide having a good time just hanging out :)

Kinley has also started to climb up things! It's pretty exciting news, but scary at the same time. She gets on all fours and pretends like she's going to crawl and then sets her butt back down. So hopefully/and not hopefully at the same time she'll crawl soon (she doesn't, obviously, but she does move all around w/out crawling, mostly rolling and wiggling.
